I demonstratedcreative thinking in myportrait assignment.
To make this portrait and the elements in it, I first thought about what colors I associate with the person I’m drawing, I then looked at color blocking artwork and came up with my own shapes and lines based on the image I had for my portrait. I also condensed the image to basic shapes so that it would be easier for me to color block and draw.
I hadn’t realized how much energy it took to perform CPR, and if not for this course i wouldn’t know anything about heart attacks or cardiac arrest, nor would i have considered learning it. My main takeaway from this unit was how important it is to learn CPR and other basic types of First Aid, if schools continue to train their students how to perform CPR then the chances of more lives being saved will climb, and i think that’s great. This unit relates to the nutrition unit because of the relation between healthy eating and heart attacks, your chances of heart disease are much lesser if you maintain a healthy diet.
Core Competency Reflection

When given feedback and tips during volleyball i act on it to progress towards my goal of becoming better at the game we’re playing.
I can show a sense of accomplishment and joy. I take pride in my work and myself.
I demonstrate this from time to time and take pride in the work I do well in. (such as tests or performing tasks/activities)
In my TKAM Ms. Dubose body Biography I used critical thinking when analyzing this character. I looked back on writings from the book and recalled key character moments for Ms. Dubose, because the character is only present in a small portion of the book I had to make connections to behaviors and actions different from certain conclusions I’ve drawn. (Tries To Control section and Thoughts About Innerself section on official poster)
I use social media, video games, Youtube and I also talk to my friends to relieve stress. Of course tech has it’s downsides but compared to the pros, there are far less cons. During this year, tech has provided me with activities and things to do with my day when i’m feeling aimless, and it’s also given me an escape from the more stress inducing life outside of social media. Especially during the summer I found comfort in a community that to this day still supports me, and i’m so grateful for that-I also got a best friend because of the communication technology has given us. 🙂
My digital footprint can have both positive and negative consequences, including; unemployment, a bad reputation, and um,, various other things. I know this, so I adjust myself to better my actions, habits and how I present myself to avoid those consequences. By doing that, I make sure to be an open minded person online, and I also try to be on the right side of things, since I’m just the kind of person who doesn’t participate in bad interactions.
By talking about things that are important to me and other people, I’m able to make a positive difference on them, because they’ve been given new info that will help them make their own decisions and shape their perspective. Not even just that, just being positive and kind to people really makes a difference.
My values are what I would call my morals, morals guide me on my decisions, perspective and actions, usually my morals are “right” like- I care about important things, as in I always try to be on the morally and universally right side..
Anyways, that’s a reflection of how I try to keep up a positive digital footprint.
Our Twine takes you through the steps of becoming a wizard at Hogwarts, just like any Twine, you would pick different highlighted words to get to the next page. My partner and I both started this twine by switching back and fourth, each of us writing a page, and going off what the other wrote. Though a lot of the wizard part was Pamela. 🙂
