Hello my name is Ethan Ballantyne…
I am a grade 9 student at centennial high school. My favorite course is social studies. I like social studies because in almost every class you are learning about a new topic, from when apes and monkey’s evolved into humans, to how we live today. On my free time I enjoy playing the piano or going to my martial arts called judo. In judo I have many medals including gold, silver and bronze.

This is my favorite website because every week day they post a new video on what is going on in the world. I like this because then I can know what is happening. I prefer this news station over other stations because they add jokes, cool stories and more interactive things.
This is an inspirational video for me because when I get older and more experienced in piano I want to learn how to play this song called the Boogie-Woogie. Right now I am in grade 3 royal conservatory piano and I plan to take my next exam this winter. I also like listening to this song because it sounds really up beat.
My Favorite Image
This is my favorite image because it is a picture of my cat. He is special to me because my mom and I are both allergic to animal fur but this cat has special fur. He has hypoallergenic fur and does not contain the dander that other cats have that normally make people allergic to them. His fur is basically bunny fur which makes it really soft and long.

This is my favorite quote because it is made by the person who founded the martial art that I do called judo. This quote means something to me because sometimes when I verse people I don’t always win. So, next time I verse them I don’t have to be better I just have to try to be better then the last time I did it.
