An artifact of something that reflects my learning is my Romeo and a Juliet final project.
I can represent my learning and tell how it connects to my experiences. I demonstrated this when I could clearly show my knowledge in a story drawing and describe the scene and what is happening.
I can form new ideas to create new things. I can also build on ideas of others.I demonstrated this when I added new ideas to my part 1 of Romeo and Juliet project. Like adding onto the story and by making up scenes about teen suicide.
I can show a sense of accomplishment and joy. I take pride in my work and myself. I demonstrate this when I i finished my project I was so happy to get it done and off my chest. I feel proud about it and handed it in on time..
I can understand how my values shape my choices. I demonstrate this when I practice and rehearse my script at home because my value is a good mark. I I can understand that learning is continuous and my indenture will continue to evolve. An example of when I do this is when I constantly get better at learning my script the more I practice and the more I practice the better I will be able to perform for my classmates
I know that my digital footprint can have both positive and negative consequences. For example, if post-secondary schools or job applications look up your name and you have a bunch of achievements in sports or music, then they will be able to see your awards and have a positive look on you. In contrast, if they look you up, there could be photos/videos of you outside of school. For instance parties. Those pictures could give them a bad first impression of you and lower your chances of getting into the school or job you want. I adjust my actions by having a private account on social media.
I make digital ethical choices such as being careful on what I post or share online. I think about if I would be okay with the job I want to get or colleges seeing what I’m about to share online.
By watching what I say online, I make a positive difference to my peers. Simply just reading over what you are about to post can change someone’s day. I think about if what I’m about to post/share is helpful or positive to someone else.
