Looking at my horoscope, blood type, and personality test, I don’t think they are very accurate at depicting my personality and who I am. I don’t really believe in astrology and pseudo psychology. I believe that my personality is based on the ‘nature vs nurture’ concept. It is not one or the other, but a combination of both that make me who I am. Part of the way I behave and think has to do with my DNA that I received from my parents and the other part is my upbringing, how I was raised and the environment I grew up in. I have never really been judged due to my horoscope, blood type or a personality test, but I have talked about it with my friends and peers. I think this type of pseudo psychology is still popular today because it is merely entertainment. A lot of the descriptions of personality’s created by these groups are very vague and can basically be applied to anyone. But in contrast, if it was a specific reading, then it may not be correct. I don’t believe in superstitions that bring good or bad luck. But I do think that if you believe in yourself enough that good things will happen to you because you end up working harder for yourself. Maybe I’m just being unopen minded, but I wont believe it until I see something unbelievable with my own eyes.
